Showdown
Showdown is a Diamond Dynasty mode unlike any other. Instead of using your usual squad or a pre-set team, you’ll begin by drafting a small set of players to anchor your lineup and staff. As you complete Showdown-specific Moments, you’ll earn additional players to round out your squad and Perks to boost your team’s performance. At the Final Showdown, your performance in the Challenges directly influences how daunting your task against the Final Boss will be!
Coach Tip: Boss Battles are a unique feature of The Show that play very differently from a regular game. Remember, the point of Showdown is to beat the Final Boss, not all the Moments! If you know the handedness of the Final Boss beforehand, that might affect your strategy as you draft - and chasing the highest OVR might not always be the best way to play it.
Moments
Moments take you back to relive baseball history or showcase the highlights of the 2026 season. Since Moments are not a full game, they’re great when you only have a little time to play. Try them all!
Coach Tip: There is no penalty for restarting Moments at any point. If you need to compile multiple hits in a game, you might want to start fresh if you don’t get one of them in your first at-bat.

Diamond Quest
It's baseball. It's your favorite board game. It's both! Diamond Quest is a rapid-paced, unpredictable, single-player experience. Roll the dice, conquer the challenges of your chosen Board, and take down the Stadiums to earn our Featured Rewards. Spend your peanuts at Coach's Cart to unlock some Perks, which modify gameplay in your favor, as you go - but watch out for the Zone Sweeper! If this sounds like a lot, don't worry - Diamond Quest is free to play and infinitely replayable.
