A Whole New Ballgame!
We made everything better in MLB® The Show™ 26, and that goes all the way down to the numbers behind the game. The blend of Attributes behind your players are a little bit different this year, more genuinely reflecting the real skills and abilities that separate the superstars from the benchwarmers. Some Attributes you've grown comfortable with might have entirely new effects on game performance, and some new Attributes allow an unprecedented level of realism and nuance in how your players perform on the field.
Bear Down!
Baseball is a game of inches, and sometimes the difference between winning and losing comes down to knowing when to knuckle up for that little bit extra. The new Bear Down feature allows your pitcher to really lock in and dial up maximum effort when you need to make a big pitch. Be careful though - just like in real life, going max effort too much will wear your pitcher out in a hurry.
Hit Like Never Before!
MLB® THE SHOW™ 26 features two new hitting styles, both engineered in their own way to give you maximum comfort and customization as you step into the batters' box.
With Fixed Zone hitting, the PCI will move and sit freely around the strike zone, without snapping back to center-center when you let go like with traditional Zone hitting.
Big Zone, on the other hand, eschews the PCI entirely and sacrifices the chance for Perfect/Perfect contact in favor of a more casual zone-based approach that still retains the same hunt-for-your-pitch mechanics that players love.

Regional Broadcast Networks
A more realistic take than ever on how to watch your team play - each franchise has its own Regional Broadcast Network, which will lean on real team traditions, interactions with the city at-large, and other slice-of-life touches when presenting their games to you. Watch your MLB journey take shape just like the real pros!
Baseball Beyond MLB® - The CWS and the WBC
Mode-exclusive presentations and visuals make the College World Series and the World Baseball Classic look and feel just like their real-life counterparts. MLB® The Show™ 26 brings these new avenues to life for the first time, and whether you're chasing international or intercollegiate dominance, the visual and audio presentation of your games will look and feel just like the real deal.
Introducing Robert Flores
This year, everybody's favorite MLB Network host makes his play-by-play debut, providing play-by-play and color commentary for your Diamond Dynasty action! As a true DD player and fan himself, RoFlo stepped in to add over 40,000 lines of all-new, mode-specific references and Diamond Dynasty-focused lines which bring the ultimate fantasy mode to life in a whole new dimension.
